Cancer Patients from all over India and neighbouring countries come to Mumbai as Tata Hospital is regarded as best for the treatment. Accommodation for poor patients in Mumbai is very difficult and costly affair. With this in mind BGES have been providing accommodation for patients specially from Eastern Zone, North East and neighbouring country Nepal for more than five years in a rented place under its Social-Welfare Project as CPAC (Cancer Patients Accommodation Centre) - Mumbai.
The Centre is fully Air Conditioned and Fully equipped Kitchen with Fridge, all required utensils and free cooking gas and service of 24x7 care Taker. The recurring cost of the centre is around Rs. 80,000/- per month, mostly taken care by BGES members for last many years.
