BGES Activities:

We also wish to inform that since last 17 years BGES has undertaken virious other social-welfare-cultural activities:

  • Organizing social meets : Creating healthy and vibrant Indian Gorkha society and botherhood in the city by providing platform from interaction, developing understanding and positive bonding with each other.
  • Presented many memorable cultural events - "Hamro Parichay" programs, for keeping our people connected to the cultural values and historical roots.
    • Organizing workshops, Counselling, Sports, Music and Social meets for community youths.
  • Providing guidance, emotional and cultural warmth and social platform to new migrants.
    • Celebration of Bhanu Jayanty.
  • Organizing several Blood Donation and Free Medical Check-up Camps in different parts of Mumbai, MiraRoad and New Mumbai.
  • Aiding Rescue Teams of out station Anti Human Trafficking Forces visiting Mumbai for Rescue Operations.
  • Organized Massive relief supply to earth quake victims of Nepal.
  • Always Taking up and leading all community related issues in City.
  • BGES had also undertaken numerous relief work by sending essential commodities to poor people in Darjeeling during 105 days strike purely on humanitarian ground.
  • Porviding temporary stay place to transferred service holders and students. Held tow round of meeting with Ganesh Naik, MInister Maharastra Govt. for allowtting land for Gorkha Bhawan and Community welfage purpose.
